Greetings and salutations to all my friends, family and supporters for Mission Oaxaca 2010.
I am once again working with World Mercy Teams, a Christian medical team of volunteers that travels around the world twice per year providing health clinics for people in need and the needs are great.
On Jan. 8, we will begin our journey to Oaxaca, Mexico where we will hold several medical clinics throughout the Mixteca region, where we will be above the clouds in many places. It will be a lot of work, but with your prayer and support, we hope to treat hundreds of people while we are there.
I will attempt to use this blog daily while we are in Oaxaca to let you know how the team is doing and allow you to send us you words of encouragement. If you look back at my blog from Mission Guatemala, you will see what I will attempt to accomplish. I don't know what the Wi-Fi situation will be just yet, but I will do my best.
Please pray for our team of volunteers as we prepare for this trip as well as during. We need to stay healthy and that all stresses of our day-to-day life will be taken from us as we mentally and spiritually begin the trip. Also pray for those we will come into contact with and treat. Pray that we can heal their wounds and their spirits through this ministry.
God bless
Sheldon
